My first gig in Atlanta. Spent most of my time crouched in a parking lot, making sure cars didn’t drive into the shot.

Highlight: Cueing Donald Glover and Brian Tyree Henry.

Pain Hustlers, Netflix

My first gig assisting a fancy-schmancy Hollywood producer. Lots of ordering salads, booking flights, and treating my ulcer.

Highlight: Pitching a script while sitting shotgun in a production van.

The Out-Laws, Netflix

I left the car-flipping to the professionals and focused on building the crew list and running dailies.

Highlight: Working with the man responsible for Christopher Nolan’s incredible car chases.

Back in Action, Netflix

Assisting the director and experiencing movie-making on a whole new level. Still ordered a lot of salads.

Highlight: Causally eating shrimp and grits in Cameron Diaz’s trailer

Ghosted, Apple TV+

Lots of spreadsheets, phone calls, and lunch orders. But there’s nothing quite like the energy in the production office bullpen.

Highlight: Serving birthday cake to an Oscar-winning actor.

Disconnected, Amazon Prime

An indie project filmed in Indy. A friend lovingly called it “like a porno, but without the porn”. It’s very low-budget, but it was my first (and last) acting project.

Highlight: Turning an acting gig into a full-blown screenwriting opportunity.
